ABOUT IMPERIA LAKE UNION
Formerly the lauded Lake Union Café event venue, Imperia Lake Union is a throwback to 1920’s glamour and Art Deco design in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle, overlooking Lake Union. With easy access to hotels, public transportation, parking, and the heart of Seattle, Imperia is a true backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
The catering services are anchored by executive chef Ian Hoyt, often praised for his fabulous fare in our reviews. For the past 20 years, Ian has been elevating the guest experience through food. Imperia’s menus range from gourmet plated cuisine to festive late-night food stations and everything in between. Seattle’s diversity is celebrated within our menus, and proudly supported through our efforts to utilize small, local purveyors.
Finally, the sky’s the limit when it comes to the details of your day – our in-house florist, Jennifer (JJ) Jones, has been creating stunning arrangements for many years. Our Event Director, Tasia Fisher, works with you to plan out your details with our on-site planning services, vendor coordination, tastings, timelines, and so much more. From our pre-set options to custom creations, JJ and Tasia help add the perfect touch and streamlined service to any event with over 40 years of combined experience.
Imperia Lake Union is a little different – we strive to provide you with everything that you need for your special day. When we work with you to coordinate the perfect event, we arrange the food, drinks, florals, decorations, and can even coordinate additional vendors to make your day less stressful. Utilizing in-house services ensures that you receive exactly what you want from a team that is intimately familiar with our space, without requiring extra hours for vendor access.
Our catering is on-site and fully integrated into your event, and also available off-site anywhere in King County, Washington. Executive Chef Ian Hoyt has anchored Imperia’s extraordinary offerings for over 20 years, including our venue’s previous brand, Lake Union Café. Our on-site florist is just one facet of our streamlined services, providing fresh blooms and tailored decorations for your wedding or event. JJ, our floral specialist, works with your vision to create the perfect atmosphere. Tasia, our Event Director, dives into the details to get everything just right. From tiered levels of on-site wedding and vendor coordination to custom themed wedding or party favors, we have thought of everything to make your day special. During this time, we are following Washington State COVID safety guidelines, including limitations on gatherings, indoor dining, wedding/receptions/funerals, and dancing. Due to current restrictions, we are also taking this opportunity to do some light renovations – and even update to our new Imperia brand!
